Next Level Happiness

“Success follows Happiness”

From the time we were little, we were taught by society that in order to be happy you must have a lot of money, go to the best school, be in a relationship, have a career, and be really successful. In many cases, this is simply not true. The problem with this way of thinking is twofold: Some people never accomplish the things they feel will make them happy and when some people do accomplish these things, they set new targets and as a result never reach Happiness.

Using scientific-based evidence, Dennard will show you how achieving happiness first will make you more successful. Next Level Happiness can benefit in better productivity, health, relationships, success, and meaningful experiences. Through training our brain to be positive, managing stress, social support, and applying positive psychology techniques you will be able to create your own happiness and success in challenging times.

Using his unique personal stories, examples from other successful people, and a lot of humor, your group will feel like they are on the ultimate roller coaster of life with the destination being Next Level Happiness.

Learning Outcomes

Diversity Equity, & Inclusion Program (DEI)

Everyone Has A Story

The student learning environment is changing in profound ways. From the ways students and teachers communicate, to school culture and how teachers do their jobs on a daily basis; the pace of change can be staggering. Add to the mix of new technologies and the permanent scars of a global pandemic. It’s easy to see why schools must constantly focus on including each student’s background and culture. This program is designed to show schools, teachers, and students how embracing diversity, equity, and inclusion will create a positive, safe, and thriving school culture.

Creating a welcoming and affirming environment

Connection, Not Perfection

Would you like to create a welcoming and affirming environment for your student? If yes, “Connection not Perfection” workshop will help you to do just that. In this interactive workshop, you will learn practical skills that will help you to make lasting connections with your students all year long. As a result of these connections, you will be able to foster positive communication and relationships while decreasing conflict and negative behaviors.

Letter of

Recommendation

It is an honor and a privilege to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Dennard Mitchell.  As principal of a nationally recognized school for almost twelve years, I was always looking for a speaker that could engage, impact and deliver a powerful message to our students and staff.  Dennard did more than just that for us on multiple occasions.

This year, I was contacted by a graduating senior that was about to graduate to let me know the impact that Dennard had on his life after his visits to our school and thanked me for bringing him to our school.  Dennard has some of the finest communication and presentation delivery skills that I have seen.  Now, as a Superintendent, I look to improve my delivery during presentations to emulate his approach.

Dennard is a leader who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk.  His powerful message shows the personal and professional growth that he has made in his life.  The major life events that he has experienced as a child and growing adult, impacted him positively and negatively.  His ability to persevere and overcome any obstacle and stay positive has always impressed me.  During our phone calls, visits to our school or other connections, Dennard and I have developed a relationship that has continued to grow over time.

I believe that Dennard’s two time best-selling author status and 15 years of public and keynote speaking didn’t come without a commitment without hard work and personal drive.  He is committed to his message of being the best individual that you can be.  However, improving yourself must happen with a plan and a goal.  I am a better person today because of Dennard Mitchell.

Overall, it is without hesitation that I recommend Dennard Mitchell to you and your district.  Please feel free to call my cell phone at 585-509-4053 to discuss any questions you may have.

Sincerely,
Ned Dale
Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources
